Brand: atomic sports
Details: The Bent Chetler 100 has created quite a name for itself over the past few seasons and earned quite the following, and it’s certainly not a surprise. This ski can put a smile on the face of so many different skiers, it’ll make your head spin. One part park ski, one part versatile all-mountain ski, one part powder ski, one part touring ski… Gosh, we could go on and on. What’s amazing, is Atomic achieves all this with relatively simple construction. A Light Woodcore is pressed together in sandwich construction with vertical sidewalls, and that’s just about the whole story. The shape of the ski is directional, but also a twin tip. You get a huge range of mount points on this ski so park-oriented skiers can go true center, or close, and those using it more for trees, powder, and all-mountain terrain can go as far back as they please. HRZN Tech in the tips and tails really increases its float in deep snow and its maneuverability anywhere. It’s distinctly catch-free, even when things get deep. We’ve seen a fair amount of skiers mounting touring bindings on it like the Atomic Shift as it’s pretty darn lightweight and versatile for all the snow conditions you’ll find in the backcountry. So, basically, no matter what type of skier you are, history tells us you’ll probably like this ski.
