Because the cell walls of Coccus retain the Crystal Violet stain used in the Gram staining process, it is a Gram-positive stain. Ideal for examination of coccus morphology, and the bacteria’s characteristic size and spherical shape. Slides come in a polystrene storage box. Each slide measures 75mm (3″) wide, 25mm (1″) long and 0.06″ in height.
