- A5 Concertina 148.5 x 210mm – 18 continuous sheets (36 sides). Made by hand in Northern India by local artisans these unique sketchbooks contain individually produced 100% recycled cotton rag paper sheets with a natural deckled edge.
- Possessing a mid-textured surface and a slightly off-white sturdy 250gsm composition they are highly suitable for both wet and dry media applications, including watercolour. Neutral pH, internally sized & acid-free. Hardback with a recycled Kraft cover
- The Concertina A5 sketch books consist of a continuous surface folded and compiled like an accordion. This flexible and extremely versatile format allows for personal modification of canvas size from using individual sheets to working across multiple folds for panoramas, landscapes or even complete storyboards
- Please Note – These papers are traditionally sized with a weak gelatine solution (1%). This is an animal derivative and sadly not vegan friendly. We are however currently working on this with local craftspeople towards future resolution

This unusual A6 Concertina sketchbook is not bound on either side and instead opens out like an accordion, allowing you to modify your canvas size, from A6 portrait to panoramas, landscapes and even whole storyboards.

Each sketchbook is individually handmade, down to each paper sheet which features a fully deckled edge – and is entirely unique in tone and grain (though overall the paper is a mid-rough texture and a heavyweight 250gsm).
Created entirely by local artisans in Northern India using traditional paper making methods, the Indigo Handmade sketchbooks are also available in our new, unusual Concertina sketchbook in A5 portrait format and a Panorama format and A6 Landscape (natural variations in paper size and shape will occur between sheets due to the handmade nature of the product).
