Details: This is a Bosch 2609256743 jigsaw blade set (3 pieces). It comes with a single lug shank. One blade is made out of HCS carbon steel for use in soft materials such as wood, laminated chipboard and soft plastics. One blade is made out of HSS: fully hardened high-speed steel for use in hard materials such as metal, aluminium and non-ferrous metal. One blade is made out of BiM (Bi-metal), a highly elastic bond of HSS and HCS to meet the greatest demands. The flexible BiM saw blades are used, for example, if there is a risk of shank breakage. They have a lifetime of about twice as much as the HSS blades and approximately 10 times that of HCS blades.
