How did you come up with the idea for this product?
We wanted to build a product for people who enjoy freedom. Freedom of sound. Freedom of choice. Freedom of movement. That’s what The Headphone is all about. We want people to enjoy what makes them feel free and happy. The Headphone does this with smooth sound, bangin’ bass and the longest battery life of any such product on the market.
What makes your product special?
The Headphone is the first truly wireless earbud to provide amazing battery life, high acoustic quality and Bluetooth capabilities that first-generation Hearables have struggled with. We also rethought the interaction, putting buttons on The Headphone, for customers who prefer tactile interfaces.
What has been the best part of your startup experience?
From the first day of our Kickstarter to 2014, to present day, we’ve been driven by the support of thousands who believe in our vision of a wireless world. Bringing The Dash and The Headphone to life and having the opportunity to share them with this fanbase has been an incredibly intense, rewarding and beautiful experience.

Bragi, makers of the world’s first Hearable, has designed a product that makes it easy to connect to any Bluetooth device to stream music or communicate. With The Headphone you enjoy high quality, wide-bandwidth audio, free from wires.
Use The Headphone as a Bluetooth headset to accept or place phone calls. An algorithm combines the signals from an internal EarBone microphone as well an external microphone for crystal clear conversations.
Control The Headphone with three small buttons on the right side. You can start, stop, change the current song or move to the next/previous one with the main button. Turn on Audio Transparency to hear the world around you. Launch your smartphone’s voice assistant by holding the main button for 1 second.
Listen all day long with battery life up to 6 hours of play time. When not in use, put The Headphone in the CarryCase, which can hang from a convenient neck strap.
