The 12-sided design prevents the weights from rolling away after setting them down, decreasing the risk of injury. The 3-hole grip design (on 25 lbs. and heavier) allows for easy handling when loading and unloading weights. The machined center hole provides a standardized product that will accommodate any Olympic bar (with a 2-inch sleeve diameter). The raised numbers help to easily identify each weight size.
