Charcoal filters are proven to safely filter odors from the air without the use of harmful ozone filtration used in many other air purifiers. It works perfect and is easy to replace. Many of the other air purifier’s that uses Activated Oxygen SUGGESTS you to leave your home when using Activated Oxygen (yikes). That is why this New Comfort Air Purifier does NOT use Activated Oxygen and produces no Ozone.
