The world of programming can be pretty tricky when you don’t have the right instructions. Based on my experience as a programmer I can say that having a practical guide full of examples is the secret to start on the right foot and go on to develop your own projects. Personally this guide by Alan Grid has opened my eyes regarding some basic concepts that I was trying to teach to my students without success! I think I have found the right way for a beginner to approach this subject.

There are different ways to learn programming as a self-taught person, I started with this bundle and then moved on to more in-depth courses, especially c++. I think this manuscript is really effective in creating the right foundation on which to then build.
Full of examples and detailed explanations for each program that is mentioned. Also, the part about cybersecurity is very easy to understand, suitable for a beginner.

A very clear and explicit book. I definitely didn’t become a hacker after the first reading, but I did get an idea of what programming is all about. If you really want to become a pro you have to push yourself beyond reading a book, reading about it on blogs, taking courses, and most of all getting lots of practice, but as a first approach, I would say this bundle offers quite a lot. The first book is an introduction to the world of programming in general, the second one talks more in-depth about Python, and how to take your first steps with it. The third book talks about Java, the fourth about C++ and finally, the last book is a guide to digital security, full of very useful tips that are simple to apply but definitely make a difference!
