It is very helpful and works great in cropping to mark around pipes of heater, radiator, boiler and toilet accurately. You can hold it against your flooring or on edge of flooring and draw with a pencil around the contour you have copied. It is obvious and easy to use with its little thin slices of plastic which are held together in the outer frame.
