Details: Double Tree Fatwood Firestarters are made from the heartwood of pine trees. Our fatwood is harvested in Mexico, where it grows on the trunks of longleaf pines. It is soft and resinous, making it easy to light with a match or lighter. Fatwood firestarters are perfect for starting fires in wood stoves, fireplaces, barbeques, or campfires. They burn very hot and can be used to ignite kindling as well as larger pieces of fuel wood.
