knife rod material is fantastically wear-resistant but can easily get broken. Don’t drop the sharpening knife steel rod or hit against hard surface.
Hold the steel rod in left hand and place vertically in solid surface, grip the knife handle in right hand, then draw full length of the blade down the honing rod at an approximate 20 degree, repeating several times in each side.
USEFUL TIPS:
1. keep the honing angle of 15-20 degree
2. from the blade’s bottom to up
3. apply with light pressure
