Details: This listing is for one word / name iron on vinyl transfer. DIY Vinyl Transfer Application Tip: Iron your transfer onto your garment using a hard surface (like a tile floor, piece of wood, or a cookie sheet) instead of an ironing board. For the longest life of your vinyl transfer: Wash inside out in cold water with no fabric softener or bleach and tumble dry. 1. Preheat your iron to the highest setting. This is usually “Cotton”, with no steam. 2. Iron your garment to remove wrinkles. 3. Remove the frosted backing from your vinyl transfer. 4. Place the vinyl transfer onto your garment. 5. Put the frosted backing on top of the vinyl transfer. 6. Place your iron on top of the transfer and press hard for 20-30 seconds. Do not slide your iron around. 7. Pick up and move your iron to another spot. Repeat step 6. Continue until your entire vinyl transfer is adhered. 8. Peel off the clear transfer sheet. You should see the shape of the fibers of the garment in the vinyl transfer material. 9. Turn your garment inside out and repeat steps 6 and 7.
