Jero has manufactured this shear for over 30 years for leading kitchenware brands, including one of the largest in the US. Many years ago when these brands decided to us lower cost Asian manufacturers, using lower quality materials, we decided to market these popular shears and sell our quality version direct. Many have copied our design, but Jero still manufactures quality shears that last. Manufactured in Portugal by Jero – a leading commercial cutlery manufacturer. Jero has manufactured for top high-end brands world-wide, as well as being a leading brand in the food service and meat processing industries. Scissors are manufactured using quality stainless steel. An extra heavy-duty spring is used to ensure years of life. Poly handles are temperature and impact resistant. Holder comes with two double sided tape areas, and one screw hole. It is best to mount with screw. Holder is ideal for carrying in pocket when working in garden or with flowers, or put in a drawer for easy access. Mount on your flower potting table for easy use, or attached a magnet and put on the side of your frig or microwave. In 2019 the Jero Shears were improved slightly to reduce the blade friction, creating a faster and easier to operate action, that reduces greatly the chances blades sticking.
