The Lactation Lab Standard Kit tests your breast milk sample for the nutritional content of your breast milk including levels of protein, carbohydrates, fat, calories plus calcium, iron, vitamins A, C and B-12.
This product is our Standard Kit. We also have a Basic Kit available which you can find by searching for “Lactation Lab Basic Breast Milk Test Kit.”
All of our kits include all lab processing fees, instructions, a sample collection vial, freezer gel pack and a pre-paid return shipping envelope.
Lab results are used to create a personalized report (sent via email in PDF format) which shows your results compared to optimal ranges, provides individualized dietary recommendations and help determining which supplements to take and which first foods to introduce to your child.
Dr. Stephanie Canale, MD is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and a practicing Primary Care Physician in Santa Monica, California who specializes in mom and baby health.
Born from personal experience when breastfeeding her own two children, she founded Lactation Lab to help optimize the health of her patients and create a “nutrition label” for breast milk.
