The rope light has IP65 rating which means it is protected from low pressure water jets. The power adapter is IP44 rating, and it is protected from water spray from any direction.

Timer
The moment you press the button on the transformer will make the light start to go into an automatic 6 hours on – 18 hours off cycle.
Long press the button to trigger the timer function and long press it again to turn off the timer setting.

Memory Function
The rope light controller has memory function, which could recover from the previous lighting mode when you restart the light.
