This pair of Olympus Outdoor Carbon trekking poles are made from Carbon Fiber, the strongest and lightest material suited for trekking poles. The poles come in a sleek black and white pattern. Each pole can be extended to any length from 45 to 53. To deploy, simply hold the pole by the handle with one hand (allowing the pole to hang freely) and with the other hand pull the lowest shaft from the handled section until it clicks (the press release button locking in place). The poles extend with a flip locking system and have measured markings for easy adjustment. The rugged tungsten tip ensures a firm grip on the most demanding of surfaces. Each pole also comes with an extra snow basket for year round enjoyment. They also have comfortable soft foam grips with attached easy to adjust wrist straps. You can also hike with confidence knowing that the flip lock connector will never be rendered useless as the connector’s cam adjustment includes a captive nut.
