⭐️ ANSWER: The markers need to be ‘started’ – to do this shake the marker then press and pump the tip against a writing surface. Keep pressing and pumping until the chalk flows into the tip. The markers will arrive with a new white/tan tip and fresh chalk stored inside. While starting the markers, you will see the colored chalk flow into the tip. Starting the markers takes about 90 seconds – please be patient.
