The DV-420V-K features HDMI® 1080p upscaling, so you can experience your DVDs in the full glory of your HDTV. With the Video Adjust Function, you can fine-tune various settings– such as Sharpness, Contrast, and Hue– to get the picture just right.

To get the best experience from fast-paced and loud action sequences, the DV-420V-K’s dialogue enhancement feature helps dialogue stand out from other background sounds so that every word is clearly heard.
Other features include Virtual Surround that enables surround sound effects from just two speakers, putting you in the middle of the action, and Dolby® Digital decoding to bring the movie-theater experience to your home cinema.
More than a DVD Player
The DV-420V-K is much more than a DVD player. The CD-to-USB recording feature lets you rip CD tracks into MP3 files. Simply select the CD tracks you want, choose the quality for conversion to MP3 format, and the DVD player will record everything onto a USB stick that you connect via the player’s USB port.
The DV-420V-K can also be used to play back your other digital content. The player is compatible with Windows Media® Audio (WMA) files and can show slide shows with incredible clarity, thanks to its HD JPEG playback feature. And you can really wow friends and family when you use the Photo+Music Mix feature to show off your photos complete with a custom soundtrack. Even Windows Media Video (WMV) files can be enjoyed!
The DV-420V-K is compatible with a range of DVD and CD formats, including DVD-R/-RW, DVD+R/+RW, DVR-R/+R DL (Video mode), DVD-R/-RW (VR mode, CPRM), SVCD, VCD, and CD-R/-RW, and even DivX video.
