The Door Security Bar is so easy to use! If you are securing a door with either a knob or lever handle, simply place the U-shaped top under the knob or handle and then lengthen the bar to create a strong and secure lock on the back of the door. If you want to use our Door Security Bar on a sliding door or window, remove the U-shaped top and place it horizontally on the bottom track (it only works on window tracks that are 27″ or longer). If the sliding door or window is narrower than the base, simply turn the padded base sideways so that it is flat to the ground.
