Details: *** Create your own ice rink experience with RinkMaster ***
If you are tired of practicing on synthetic ice tiles and crave that real ice feel, then choose the heavy duty RinkMaster Rink Liner to help make the perfect ice surface and watch your pucks or skates glide like never before! RinkMaster 6 mil Liners make rink making easy, and with many sizes available, you’ll be enjoying a backyard rink faster than ever before. All RinkMaster liners are the actual size stated. This means that if you order a 20′ x 40′ liner that it will measure 20 feet wide and 40 feet long. If your rink is 20′ x 40′, you will need a rink liner that is at least 24′ x 45′ to ensure proper coverage and no leaks. All RinkMaster Liners are bright white on both sides, and are 6 mil thick. Our liners are one single sheet with no seams, welds or weaves.
*** Setting up your RinkMaster Rink Liner ***
Once you have determined the size of the rink you want to build, take into account the height of the boards or other sides that you are using, and add an extra two feet to ensure you have enough. For example, if you are making a 20 x 40 foot frame from 2 x 10 wood boards or brackets, then you will need a 24 foot wide liner. Be sure to add four feet extra in the length dimension also. A foot of extra liner is fine. Being one foot short can cause difficulties with the setup of your rink.
Make sure that the liner is not supporting the weight of the water. Tuck the liner down into the corner where your boards meet the ground to ensure that your boards are supporting the weight of the water and avoid blow-outs.
Wait for cold winter weather and then fill your rink in stages, freezing completely between each stage. This reduces strain on the liner, allowing for earlier identification of any problems with the liner.
Make sure to avoid a windy day for setup, and do not walk on the liner.
This Christmas or holiday season, choose RinkMaster for your ice rink needs!
