The heavy-duty tie-down straps feature non-marring coated steel S-hooks, and a robust flared-out aluminum handle that has a padded grip and a release pawl. The orange tie-down straps are user-friendly and come with pre-threaded webbing to prevent accidentally feeding webbing into the ratchet mechanism from the wrong direction. The SmartWeb straps are stronger and more abrasion resistant than standard webbing. Sewn-in soft tie loops prevent scratching, and protective hex caps keep the ratchet mechanism clean.
