Details: There’s nothing fun about spilling coolant all over your engine bay and driveway or waiting in the cold for your engine to warm up while you bleed air from the cooling system. That’s why we wants to help you avoid all of that and fill your cooling system in two easy steps. With this coolant vacuum purge and refill tool kit, you can simply connect the tool to a compressor, pull a vacuum on your cooling system, then open the valve and fill. No air to bleed out and no sitting in the cold while you wait for your engine to get up to temp. The Super Stars Coolant Vacuum Purge and Refill Tool Kit includes a universal compression-style adapter and collars to fit most coolant tanks or radiators and comes packed in a convenient carrying case. Like all our tools, this coolant vacuum purge and refill tool kit is backed by our NEBULA Lifetime Warranty for a lifetime of service. Instructions: Create a Vacuum: Drain the coolant from the radiator. Select a suitable sized rubber bushing and fit it to the lower part of the tool. Insert the tool into the radiator filler neck. Turn the sealing collar to make a seal between the tool and the radiator filler neck. Connect the vacuum pump to the quick coupling. Connect the drain hose to the vacuum pump in case there is residual fluid inside the system. Connect shop air to the vacuum pump. Turn the valve on to create a vacuum in the radiator (Fig. 1). Turn the valve off when the gauge reading falls is between 20 – 24 inHg. Disconnect the shop air from the vacuum pump. Refill Coolant: Disconnect the vacuum pump from the quick coupling. Connect the coolant hose to the quick coupling. Put the other end of the coolant hose in a pre-mixed coolant container. NOTE: Make sure there is enough coolant to fill the cooling syste
