Instructions:
1.Determine how the screen will be placed on the vent by placing it over the camper vent. The spring(s) that holds the screen to the camper vents must attach to an inner cross frame member on the camper vent. Line up the cross frame member to a location on the rv vent screen. That is where the spring should be installed. RV screens smaller than 3” may only need one spring. Larger ones may need 2 or 3 to stay in place.
2. Connect the spring(s) hook to the screen at the location(s) that you selected in step 1. Ensure that the spring is installed so that the spring crossbar is farthest away from the screen (see image below). Slide the shaft of the spring installation tool through the screen so that it slides through the spring and the spring tool notch connects to the spring crossbar.
3. Push the spring installation tool so that the spring extends and latches onto the vent cross frame member using the opposite spring hook.
