Note: This cash drawer does not work with Square, Toast or Clover POS system. Volcora Cash Drawer with USB interface is designed to provide direct connection between the cash drawer and software on Windows PCs through its USB port. Through the USB trigger, this cash drawer can be directly connected to the computer without the need for a receipt printer.
Volcora USB cash drawer uses a virtual serial port driver, making it appear to Windows software like a standard RS232 serial port (COM port). Any POS software can communicate with the USB cash drawer trigger as though connected to a serial port, a sample open command in Hex could be: 0x0c, 0x01, 0x02, 0x03, 0x04, 0xc5, 0x00, 0x00,0x00, 0x00 (or 12, 1, 2, 3, 4, 197, 0, 0, 0, 0 in decimal).
